The Mini [M] join is the smallest ChiaoGoo makes, and its connectors and stoppers are sized to match. This kit puts the [M] parts in one small plastic case that fits a pouch or a pocket. It is the kit for the 5-Inch Mini and 4-Inch Mini sets, the Red Shorties set, and the [M] Shorties Combo Packs. This kit includes:

What This Kit Does

Mini tips are the fine sizes, and fine knitting is where a spare stopper matters most: park a sock cuff on its cable, move the tips to the second sock, and neither project comes off the needles. The two connectors join [M] cables end to end, so two 8-inch cables become a 16-inch cable and a Shorties set reaches past its own longest circular. The gripper gives your fingers purchase on a thin tip while the key snugs the join, which matters more at US-000 than anywhere else in the range.

This kit is [M] only. On 4-inch and 5-inch tips the Mini join covers US-000 (1.5 mm) through US-1.5 (2.5 mm); on 2-inch and 3-inch tips it reaches to US-3 (3.25 mm). Anything on the Small [S] or Large [L] join takes the larger Tools Kit Tin, which holds more: four connectors, four end stoppers, two [L]-to-[S] adapters, darning needles, safety pins, and 20 stitch markers.

Questions About This Kit

Does this kit have adapters?
No. ChiaoGoo puts no adapters in the MINI kit. The adapter that steps a Small [S] tip down onto an [M] cable is sold on its own, in our Interchangeable Adapters listing.

Will these fit my TWIST or SPIN set?
Only if it is a Mini set. The [M] join is smaller than [S], so [M] connectors and stoppers will not thread onto [S] or [L] cables. For those, the Tools Kit Tin is the one.

My tips are US-2 on 3-inch. Is that [M]?
Yes. The boundary shifts with tip length: US-2, US-2.5, and US-3 are [M] on 2-inch and 3-inch tips, and [S] on 4-inch and 5-inch tips. Our tip length guide lays the whole table out.

Is there a warranty?
