Track Your Order

To track your order, check the email address you provided during checkout for the Shipping Confirmation and look for your tracking number. There is a link in the email that will take you directly to the tracking page for your order.

ALERT: If you do not receive your shipping confirmation email after two business days, please check your email spam folder. If the email is located in your spam folder, mark it as accepted and add us to your contacts so important emails are no longer treated as spam.

Shipping and Delivery

We generally ship the next business day (Monday through Friday) for items paid by Noon Central Time and two business days later otherwise. Occasionally, we take longer to ship. When that happens, you'll know before you buy because we will state the additional time needed in our handling time.

We ship everything from the USA and use the US Postal Service exclusively. So when you pay, please change your shipping address to your postal mailing address if it is different from your street address.

We send most packages to USA addresses via First Class Mail or Priority Mail, both of which usually arrive in about 2 - 4 business days. An exception is that Standard Shipping for heavier books is Media Mail, with delivery in about 5 - 10 business days.

We happily ship to many countries in the world, and International mail is typically delivered in about 1 - 2 weeks. However, please be aware that occasionally there can be delays in Customs that result in International delivery times of 3 - 6 weeks. We have even had rare reports of more serious delays in Customs -- resulting in International delivery times of 7 - 12 weeks.

Shipping Fees




Sales Tax

Sales tax is 6% for shipments to addresses in Iowa, and Iowa requires that this tax be applied to the entire order (i.e., the cost of shipping is taxed as well as the cost of the items).


International Customs Processing and Fees

If you are not in the USA, please understand that your country might charge you for import duties, taxes, and and processing fees. We do not know what these charges are, and we do not include them in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are your responsibility. If your country requires them, you will need to pay them in order to take delivery of your package.

Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to placing your order. So sorry, but we cannot under-value merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs forms because doing that is against U.S. and international laws.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please let us know. Making a return is easy. We ask that you simply contact us for a Return Authorization code. Then mail the merchandise to the following address:

Return/Refund Policy

We accept returns of most merchandise for any reason as long as you contact us first for a return authorization and you postmark the return within 30 days of receipt.

If the fault is ours -- we mailed the wrong item or the item arrived damaged -- we will do our best to correct the problem at our expense or refund in full. If we ask you to return a damaged or defective item, we will pay the cost of return shipping.

Otherwise, new merchandise must be returned in new condition. This means that items in manufacturer's packaging must be returned unused and in original unopened packaging. Due to copyright issues, we cannot accept returns of opened patterns, opened CDs, opened DVDs, or opened software. Books must be returned in new/unread condition.

We will issue a full or partial refund upon receipt. To help offset our shipping costs, we will deduct a 15% restocking fee for "Free Shipping" items.
