Description
For transferring a design onto fabric to stitch by hand, these are 10 self-adhesive, water-soluble design sheets. Trace, draw, or print the design on the sheet, stick it on the fabric, stitch through it, and rinse it away under room-temperature water.

How to Use It
Trace, draw, or print the design on the soluble side of a sheet; WonderFil lists it for laser and inkjet printers. The gridded backing helps you plan and place the design. Stick the sheet on the fabric and stitch through it. WonderFil describes the sheet as extremely light, with no resistance to the needle, so it does not gum up the needle. When you finish, run the work under room-temperature water until the sheet dissolves.

Fit and Limits
The sheet dissolves in water, so the finished work has to go under the tap. Sulky's Stick 'n Stitch does the same job and comes with a free embroidery pattern. For applique templates you fuse to fabric with an iron, C&T Publishing makes Wash-Away Applique Sheets, a printable wash-away.

If you select free or flat rate shipping, items typically arrive between 5-7 business days but there are always edge cases where your item may arrive sooner or later than that window.
