Description

Cut or trace circles in five sizes with five round acrylic templates: 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 4 1/2, 5 1/2, and 6 1/2 inches across. Creative Grids lists them for yo-yos, applique, Japanese folded patchwork, and marking quilting curves and circles.

What's Included

Five acrylic circles, one in each size, with a printed insert and a resealable bag for storage. This listing does not include fabric, rotary cutter, and cutting mat.

How to Use It

Hold a circle on the fabric and cut around its edge with a rotary cutter, or trace around it with a marking tool to mark circles and curves on a quilt top. Each circle is clear acrylic with a frosted non-slip ring near the edge, so the fabric shows through the center. The circle slides over the fabric while you position it, and the ring holds once you press down. Four lines cross at the center and divide each circle into eight equal sections to help with placement. A QR code on the package links to the demonstration video.

Fit and Limits

The five sizes step by 1 inch from 2 1/2 to 6 1/2 inches, and each printed size is the outside diameter of its circle. Every size ends in a half inch, so the set has no 3, 4, 5, or 6 inch circle. The templates have no inch scale and no seam allowance line. The insert lists the uses and gives no steps, no yo-yo sizes, and no folded patchwork method.
