Description
For small rulers and acrylic templates, this is a single suction-cup handle with a locking lever. It fits any smooth ruler or template at least 2-1/4 inches across and keeps fingers off the template while you cut around it or stitch along it.
What's Included
One Little Gripper: a purple arched handle over a 2-1/4 inch suction cup, with a locking lever. The package lists it at 2.8 x 3.1 x 3.2 inches.
How to Use It
Set the suction cup on a smooth area of the template or ruler, then flip the lever up to lock it in place. Flip the lever back down to release the suction and move the handle to the next template. On a longarm, The Gypsy Quilter suggests holding templates by the Little Gripper to keep fingers clear while stitching.
For long rulers, the Original Gypsy Gripper uses two cups with latches.

Fit and Limits
The cup needs a smooth area at least 2-1/4 inches across, not counting the hang hole, to seal. With one cup it steadies small pieces; a long ruler needs the two-cup Original Gypsy Gripper.
