What You'll Need
Requirements are listed for both sizes as Small / Large:
- Main fabric (body of case): fat quarter / ½ yard
- Coordinating fabric (lining, gusset, bindings): fat quarter / ½ yard
- ByAnnie's Soft and Stable (stabilizer): 11" x 16" / 15" x 24" (one 18in x 58in ½-yard package makes both cases)
- Fusible interfacing: ¼ yard / ½ yard (e.g. Shape-Flex Fusible Woven Interfacing)
- Mesh fabric (inner pockets): 6" x 16" / 9" x 24"
- Handbag zipper (YKK #4.5, to match fabric): one 40" double-slide zipper makes both cases, cut from ByAnnie's Zippers by the Yard. For the small alone, a 24" single-slide with an extra slide makes two cases.
- 20mm fold-over elastic: ½ yard / ¾ yard
- Decorative ribbon (optional border): 10¼" each / 16½" each
- Thread: 50 wt polyester to match (invisible thread is suggested for attaching ribbon borders)
