How to Use It
Shape-Flex bonds with an iron. Place the adhesive (slightly bumpy) side against the wrong side of the fabric, cover with a press cloth, and press in place for about ten seconds at a wool or steam setting. Lift and move to the next section rather than sliding the iron, and let the piece cool before handling. To pre-shrink before fusing, soak the interfacing in warm water for about ten minutes, gently squeeze out the water, and lay it flat to dry. Do not machine wash or dry the interfacing on its own, since that can loosen the adhesive. Once it is fused into a finished project, that project can be machine washed warm and tumbled dry on medium, or dry cleaned.
