What This Set Makes

A Tunisian hook is the hook plus the cable, with an end stopper on the far end to hold the row. Questions About This Set

Why do the big hooks need an adapter?
Because a 5.5 mm and larger shaft carries the Large [L] thread, and the cables in this set are Small [S], the size the small hooks use. The adapter is a short threaded sleeve: [L] on the hook end, [S] on the cable end. Screw it onto the hook first, then the cable, and snug the cable end with a tightening key as you would a knitting tip.

Can I use the cables from my TWIST or SPIN set?
Yes. The joins are the same. [S] cables fit the E through H hooks directly and the I through N hooks with an adapter; [L] cables fit the I through N hooks directly. End stoppers from those sets work too.

How do I make a double-ended Tunisian hook?
Put a hook on each end of one cable instead of a hook and a stopper. Two hooks of the same size need a second hook, sold singly. That is the setup for Tunisian in the round and an option for two-color work.
