Description
Knit Red circulars are ChiaoGoo's original stainless steel fixed circular knitting needles, on a memory-free red cable. The needle size is laser-marked on each circular.
This is the 32-inch (80 cm) length, measured from point to point with the tips and cable together, as printed on the package. ChiaoGoo puts a bend in the tips on the 12-inch and longer lengths to ease hand fatigue.
Sizes
15 sizes, from US-0 (2 mm) through US-11 (8 mm). Each choice is one circular needle in one size.
Tips and Cable
The Knit Red point is less sharp than the Red Lace point.
The cable is multi-strand steel with a red nylon coating. It has no memory, so it does not hold the coil from the package, and yarn slides right over it.

Are these needles hypoallergenic?
ChiaoGoo makes them of surgical stainless steel and states that it is hypoallergenic and, in most cases, not reactive to sensitive skin.
Do the cables kink?
They are memory-free, not kink-free. ChiaoGoo attributes cable failure to repeated sharp bending, tight tension, and lifting heavy projects by the cable or joins, so lift by the needles. If a cable snaps, here is what to do.
Will they fit in a ChiaoGoo case?
The ChiaoGoo Case for Circular Knitting Needles holds fixed circulars in 16 labeled pockets, with an outside zippered pocket for notions. It measures 9 x 7 inches (23 x 18 cm) closed.
