A Foundation Paper Pieced (FPP) expansion for the Bella Quilt Coat that turns the coat into a showpiece. Flying Geese arcs radiate outward from the center back, while smaller Flying Geese beauties mirror each other on the two front panels. Worked in contrasting or gradient colors, the geese create movement and a strong focal point across the back. The Bella Quilt Coat pattern is required and sold separately. The cover version is shown in Tula Pink's Floral Reef collection.

What You'll Need
- The Bella Quilt Coat pattern (required, sold separately)
- Main fabrics in a variety of colors, plus a background fabric and a coordinate fabric for the geese and any fussy-cut motifs
- Foundation paper or lightweight letter-size paper for copying and piecing the units
- Coordinating thread (a fine 80wt for piecing; 50wt or monofilament for machine applique) and low-loft fusible fleece
- Foundation paper piecing tools such as an Add-A-Quarter Plus ruler, a fabric glue pen, a seam roller, and a rotary cutter and mat
