This pattern makes a large zipper-top travel bag in two heights, both 22 inches wide and 10 inches deep: the short bag is 15 inches tall and the tall bag is 19. Each has two large pockets outside and six large and four narrow pockets inside. The pattern includes two stainless steel stays, which slide into a channel at the top of the bag and help keep the bag open while you pack.

What the Pattern Includes
The printed pattern and two Size A stainless steel stays with protective plastic tips, enough for one bag of either height. The directions cover non-directional prints, with notes for directional fabric, and include an optional luggage strap. This listing does not include fabric, interfacing, zipper, buttons, tubing, or thread.

For a second bag, or to replace the stays in a finished one, the Size A bag stays (AT646) come in a 2-pack.

• Outside bag body, side binding, outside pockets, pocket closure, and optional luggage strap: 2 yards for the short bag or 2 1/4 yards for the tall, in a non-directional focus fabric
