Description
Strawberry Garden turns a year of piecing into a garden that grows one row at a time. Joanna Figueroa's block-of-the-month sampler arranges strawberries, garden gates, baskets, bows, and blossoms into neat rows, all worked in the soft, scrappy Fig Tree palette. Month by month, the rows fill in until the whole garden comes together.
What the Book Includes
This is the printed pattern book, not a kit or a finished quilt. Inside are the twenty-one-block sampler and nine companion projects, with rotary-cutting and assembly instructions, full-color photographs, and step diagrams throughout. Fabric, batting, backing, and notions are not included.
The Blocks and Companion Projects
The sampler builds from twenty-one pieced blocks set over eleven months, among them Berry Picking Basket, Garden Mum, Strawberry Blossom, Aster Flower, Cross and Crown, Picket Fence, and Berry Basket. The twelfth month covers assembly and finishing.

What You'll Need
The blocks and projects are conventional patchwork: rotary-cut squares, rectangles, and triangles joined with straight seams. The scrappy Fig Tree look pulls happily from fat quarters, precuts, and the strawberry-and-floral prints already in a stash, so Jelly and Jam or any similar palette works. A rotary cutter, mat, and quilting ruler handle the cutting. Yardage and cutting charts for every project are printed in the book.
