"I had a really fun time designing these fabrics and quilts. The fabrics are called the Diaphanous Collection because of their many layers of motifs that fade in and out, giving them a kind of translucent quality. With new digital printing technology, I am able to create very subtle changes in color and transition from one design element to the next. It is amazing to have the freedom to put together a collection and then be able to print it exactly as I imagined.
The quilts in this book were made to showcase the fabrics and to give you ideas for future projects. I chose specific colors for each quilt, but they could easily be made in whatever palette you like best.
