The pack contains three clear acrylic trimmers: a 60 degree trimmer, a 45 degree trimmer, and a 30 degree trimmer. The 45 degree and 30 degree shapes are symmetrical, so each one trims both the left and right corners of its angle.

How to Use Them

Cut your triangles, diamonds, or angled pieces as usual, then set the matching trimmer over a corner and rotary-cut along its edge to take the point off.

• The 60 degree trimmer handles 60 degree triangles, diamonds, and half hexies. Line up two opposite sides with the edges of the trimmer, then trim. The same trimmer also squares the points on 30 degree right triangles: line one side up with the trimmer edge and the other along the vertical dotted line.
• The 45 degree trimmer takes the sharp corners off right (90 degree) triangles. Line one side and the bottom up with the edges of the trimmer, then trim.
• The 30 degree trimmer takes the sharp corners off 120 degree isosceles triangles. Line one side and the bottom up with the edges of the trimmer, then trim.

The trimmers mark and cut corners. They do not size strips or square up blocks, so a standard quilting ruler still does that part of the work.

Why You'll Love These
