How to Use It
The 45mm size is the standard for quilting and general sewing: long strips, straightening edges, and cutting several layers of cotton at once. Slide the guard open to cut and closed to store. The blade sits on a screw-and-nut mount set over precision ball bearings, so the wheel spins freely and there is no need to bear down to get through a stack. Two notes on this design: tighten the blade screw firmly, since the ball bearings keep it from over-tightening, and press the guard button in before sliding it. The handle works for right- and left-handed cutters. When the blade dulls, any standard 45mm blade fits; the Famore SKS-7 45mm 2-pack is listed separately.
