What the Pattern Includes
The printed pattern, with instructions for both versions, and two Size E stainless steel stays with rubber tips, enough for one bag. This listing does not include fabric, batting, interfacing, zipper, or thread.
For a second bag, or to replace the stays in a finished one, the Size E bag stays (AT632) come in a 2-pack.
What You'll Need
- Bag body (strip version): 11 strips 2 1/2 inches wide by the width of the fabric; the pattern suggests 10 jelly roll strips and one strip from the coordinating fabric
- Bag body (fabric, cork, or leather version): two rectangles 16 inches wide by 9 inches tall
- Pockets, bottom, binding, bows, and tabs: 3/4 yard of non-directional coordinating fabric for the strip version, or 1 yard for the fabric, cork, or leather version
- Batting (strip version): one 25 yard roll of Bosal Katahdin batting, precut to 2 1/2 inches wide, or strips you cut from lightweight cotton batting; the 2 1/2 inch x 50 yard roll covers it
- Bag body interfacing (fabric, cork, or leather version): Bosal In-R-Form Plus, a double-sided fusible foam interfacing, 18 x 58 inches; the 58 x 36 inch package covers it
- Bottoms (either version): 1/2 yard of Bosal Craftex Plus, 20 inches wide, or Bosal's precut Mini Poppins Bag Bottoms

The pattern makes one size, 9 x 7 x 6 inches, in two versions: 2 1/2 inch strips with batting, or whole cloth, cork, or leather with fusible foam interfacing.
Aunties Two does not publish a skill level. The construction includes a double-slide zipper that you cut to size and a stiff fusible bottom, and the tool list calls for a sewing machine with a zigzag stitch and a free arm. Aunties Two posts free video tutorials for filling the batting strips, the pockets, the zipper and top binding, making and sewing on the bottom, and the side seam.
