Description
Measure and cut small pieces to 1/8 inch with a 2 1/2 x 10 inch ruler that carries three scales: a 1 inch grid with 1/8 inch marks, a solid 1/8 inch grid, and a solid 1/4 inch grid. A 1/2 inch pink band that reads I heart my Quilting Friends runs down the middle between the scales.

How to Use It
The lower 1 x 10 inch half has a black line at every inch, with the numbers 1 to 9 in pink hearts, 1/8 and 1/4 inch tick marks between the lines, and a dashed line 1/4 inch in from the long edge. The upper half splits into two 1 x 5 inch sections: one with solid 1/8 inch grid lines and one with solid 1/4 inch grid lines and 1/8 inch tick marks. On the solid grids you can line up a small piece in both directions at once. The non-slip grip holds the ruler while you cut.

Fit and Limits
The ruler is 10 inches long, so it measures pieces up to 10 inches along its length. Each scale covers only its own section: the solid 1/8 inch grid is 1 x 5 inches, the solid 1/4 inch grid is 1 x 5 inches, and the 1 inch scale runs the full 10 inches.
