Description
This pattern makes a small zipper-top bag, 9 inches wide, 6 inches deep, and 9 inches tall when closed, with six pockets inside. Aunties Two sizes it for the basics on a night out or a day of shopping, and the pattern includes directions for an insulated lunch bag. The pattern includes two stainless steel stays, which keep the bag in shape.
What the Pattern Includes
The printed pattern and two Size E stainless steel stays with rubber tips, enough for one bag. The directions cover non-directional prints and give cutting sizes for directional prints. This listing does not include fabric, interfacing, zipper, or thread.
For a second bag, or to replace the stays in a finished one, the Size E bag stays (AT632) come in a 2-pack.

Fit and Limits
The pattern makes one size, 9 x 6 x 9 inches. Aunties Two publishes two larger City Bag patterns, each with its own stays: City Bag Midtown (13 inches wide, 6 deep, and 12 tall) and City Bag Uptown (17 inches wide, 8 deep, and 14 tall).
Aunties Two does not publish a skill level. The construction includes double-sided fusible foam batting in the bag body and a 24 inch double-slide zipper, and the tool list calls for a sewing machine with a walking foot and a free arm. Aunties Two posts free video tutorials for marking the lines, the pockets, the handles, the side seams, the zipper and binding, squaring off the bottom and sides, inserting the stays, and making the lunch bag.
