Description
ChiaoGoo QUADS are square-shaped interchangeable needle tips designed to reduce hand strain during extended knitting sessions. The square profile with rounded corners provides a more secure grip than traditional round needles, allowing knitters to maintain a relaxed hand position without constantly gripping tight to prevent the needle from rotating.
What makes these different:
The flat sides give more surface contact with your hand, resulting in less tension in your fingers, wrist, and hand as you knit. During ChiaoGoo's testing, knitters also reported reduced shoulder strain—likely because the improved grip translates to better overall posture. One tester found she could knit again without pain after switching to the square shape.

Compatibility:
These 5-inch tips work with all ChiaoGoo TWIST red cables, SPIN clear cables, SWIV360 silver cables, and X-Flex blue cables. The flat sides are easier to grip when connecting and disconnecting them from a cable.
ChiaoGoo recommends using these tips with their new swivel adapters (sold separately) for enhanced knitting comfort.
The QUADS maintain ChiaoGoo's signature sharp lace tips, smooth joins, and permanent laser-marked sizing. If you experience hand fatigue with traditional round needles, the square profile is worth trying.
