Description
For laying out quilt blocks before sewing them together, this is a 72 x 72 inch square of white felt fabric that hangs on a wall. Cotton blocks cling to the felt without pins, so you can move them around until the layout is right.
What's Included
One 72 x 72 inch design wall in white felt, a blend of acrylic and recycled PET. It comes in a clear zippered bag with a handle. This listing does not include hanging clips.
How to Use It
Choose a wall area with no windows, doors, or moldings in the way. The Gypsy Quilter recommends self-adhesive wall clips for hanging tapestries and posters, which most hardware stores carry, to hang it at a height you can reach. Smooth each block onto the felt with your hand and rearrange until the layout works. A lint roller removes stray threads, and a tumble in the dryer on low heat removes dust and re-fluffs the fibers that hold the blocks.
