What You'll Need
Most of the quilt comes from fat eighths and large scraps, so it is a good way to shop the stash first:
- Background: three gradations of one color, in fat eighths or large scraps (roughly 6 to 7 dark, 6 to 7 medium, and 8 to 10 light)
- Bobbins: twelve gray fabrics total, a light, a medium, and a dark for each of the four bobbins (four light grays, four medium grays, four dark grays). The bobbins can also be made in realistic silvers and grays throughout.
- Thread accents: large scraps in four different colors
- Binding: 1/4 yard
- Foundation paper: 8-1/2" x 11" sheets, supplied by you
