This wonderful three-piece set includes a 16-inch rotating base, a rotary cutting mat, and a padded ironing top. The combination gives you an efficient, rotating, table-top solution for many important quilting tasks, whether you are cutting, piecing, or pressing.
The Round-About Iron Top is 15 1/2 inches in diameter x 1/2 inch thick, and it is light weight. It has three layers: a no slip material at the bottom, a layer of batting in the middle, and a pressing cover that reflects heat -- helping to transfer heat to both sides of the fabric at once. The pressing cover can be removed and washed. You can even replace it with a custom cover if you'd like to make your own. The color/pattern of the cover in this set varies and may not be as pictured.
The Round-About Cutting Mat is 17 inches in diameter. It contains a grid with lines every 1/4" and a 10-inch square on the mat for squaring up fabric. There is a layer of no-slip material on bottom of the mat that keeps it firmly in place when you set it on top of the Round-About Base or on any flat surface.
The Round-About Base is 16 inches in diameter and contains 24 stainless steel ball-bearings for smooth rotation. It serves as a base for the Round-About Cutting mat and the Round-About Iron Top.
This set is a great addition to any sewing or craft room. It turns smoothly and makes smaller projects easier to work on. It gives you a great space smaller projects because you can turn the turn-table instead of having to walk around your sewing or craft table.
