Freezer Paper: Your Go-To for Paper Piecing, Applique, Stenciling and Beyond

Unlock Your Creativity with Freezer Paper. It’s wonderful to have ready in your supplies for quilting, applique, embroidery and other fabric crafting uses.

We stock bulk packs of Quilter's Freezer Paper by C&T Publishing. The package includes 70 sheets of 8.5" x 11" printable freezer paper, giving you plenty to work with for bigger projects. The smooth, white sheets lie flat and are reusable, making them extremely economical.

So what kinds of projects can you tackle with freezer paper? The possibilities are endless.

Appliqué

Easily create your own appliqué templates or stabilize fabric shapes by pressing the freezer paper to the wrong side. It makes clean, crisp turned edges a breeze.

Embroidery

Transfer embroidery patterns by tracing the design onto freezer paper, then using a hot iron to transfer it to fabric. Or use the freezer paper as stabilizer for machine embroidery.

Stencils & Stamping

Cut out custom stencil shapes from the freezer paper to use with paints, inks, and stamps on fabric and mixed media projects.

Printing on fabric

Iron on a sheet of freezer paper to a slightly larger piece of freshly pressed fabric. Trim the fabric to fit, and then run the stabilized fabric through your inkjet printer to print any design directly onto your fabric.

English Paper Piecing

Freezer paper can be used to make reusable English paper piecing templates you iron onto fabric, eliminating the need for pins. Print your templates on freezer paper and cut them out. For thicker templates, iron the printed sheet onto a second sheet of freezer paper before cutting the templates out.

Foundation Paper Piecing

If you love the precision of paper piecing but hate having to rip out all those tiny paper pieces, then freezer paper is the perfect tool. Instead of sewing on printed paper foundations, use freezer paper templates to machine piece intricate quilt block designs with perfect accuracy. And you won’t be left with needing to rip out all of those stitched foundation papers at the end of the process.
